Do we have to replace everything to work with ctrl?
No. We keep working systems in place until they reach end of life. The roadmap phases change over time to fit your capital budget.
Do you only work with Q-SYS and Acuity?
Our standard platform is Q-SYS for AV and Acuity for lighting and controls, and we tell you that up front. We work for the owner, not a product line.
Our resort is brand-managed. Can we still work with you?
Yes. We invite the owner or asset manager to the Estate Review alongside the property team.
Where do you work?
ctrl is based in Thomasville, NC and works with resorts nationwide.
Current setup
We already have an in-house AV provider. Is ctrl still useful?
Yes. We take responsibility for everything on the property, including systems someone else installed.
Is the Blueprint a sales pitch for equipment?
No. We work for the owner, not a product line. The answer usually isn't the most expensive option.
Time and cost
How much of my team's time does a Blueprint take?
About 4 hours of staff time: roughly an hour sending what you have, and about 3 hours while we are on site.
Are you licensed and insured?

After the readout
What happens after the readout?
You choose: fund Phase 1, keep ctrl on as your Estate Stewardship team, or both.
What if the roadmap misses something?
Tell us what's missing within 30 days of the readout. We'll keep working, including another site day if needed, at no charge, until it does.
